Services for Guests with a Disability

Disabled seating is located throughout the arena. Based on the event, there may be seats available on the floor level, main concourse level, or the upper level. Before purchasing tickets, please inform the ticket office of your need to sit in a disabled section. If you are injured after you have already purchased tickets, please contact the original point of purchase so they can accommodate you to the best of their abilities.

Ticketed Events

For ticketed events, all seating within a disabled section must be purchased.

Non Ticketed Events

For most non- ticketed events, accessible seating is available on a first come first serve basis for guests with a disability. Due to limited capacity on the concourse level, patrons with disabilities may be asked to sit in the upper level Accessible Seating Areas once the concourse level ADA seating is filled. To the extent space permits, One (1) companion accompanying a person with a disability may use the Accessible Seating areas; however, no additional seats may be saved or reserved for additional family or companions to ensure enough accessible seating for individuals with disabilities.

Companions

Any companions attending an event can sit with a disabled patron. For ticketed events, each seat must be purchased. For non- ticketed events, each disabled patron will be allowed one companion to sit with them.

Parking

Disabled parking is located in all lots surrounding the arena. A disabled parking permit is required for admittance into the disabled parking areas. Please have proper identification showing to eliminate parking difficulties and long waiting.

Accessible Entrances

All gates are within a short walking distance to the building and offer flat surfaces for easy access to the building. There is an elevator in the Gate D lobby for access to floor or upper level seating.

Power Areas

There are a few power outlets within each disabled section on the main level for recharging wheelchairs, respirators, etc. For assistance, please see a guest services staff member. If you are in need of power, please let the ticket office know at the time of ticket purchase.

Medical Needs

Tampa Fire Rescue will be present for all events and can assist and treat most medical issues. If there is a need for transport, that will be coordinated by Tampa Fire Rescue as well.

Assistive Animals

Assistive animals are allowed within the facility. Please have your animal clearly marked upon arrival. Guest Services Staff will assist with seating.

Wheelchairs/Walkers

USF Sun Dome does not have wheel chairs for personal use. Please plan accordingly.

Wheel Chairs

If you do not desire to use your chair, we recommend leaving the chair at home or in the vehicle as there is no storage within the USF Sun Dome.

Assisted Walkers

A patron with an assisted walker may fold it up and store it by their seat as long as it does not block aisles.

Assistive Listening Devices

The USF Sun Dome has a limited number of Assistive Listening Devices which are available event by event on a first come first served basis at the Guest Services booth in the Gate A lobby. If you would like to reserve the device in advance, please contact us at (813) 974-3111 at least 24 hours prior to the day of show and we would be happy to put one aside under your name at the Guest Services booth. To pick up the device on event day, you will need to provide a valid photo ID which will be kept by our staff until the device is returned at the end of the event.
